Halloween treats

Fall is such a wonderful season. Its so much fun to see the trees change colors, to see them fall to the ground and to wait for that warm day to run and jump in them.
Its always fun dressing up, we get to many times every fall because we always have lots of hand me down costumes. I love it! This year we only went to the harvest carnival at our church. Its always tons of fun. We played lots of games, which is one of Mason's favorite things to do. There was one game that Rylan loved, well she mostly helped the workers pick up coins from other kids throwing them on dots on the floor.

Mason had been wearing his transformer costumes like crazy. He is such a fun boy. Always racing and climbing. Makes it even better when wearing his mask.

They just make you melt. I mean look at their faces and their little bodies. Rylan even meowed that night. She really knew she dressed to be a cat. This is at our weekly stumo meeting. Mason was a dinosaur and lani was a care bear. They ran them selves crazy that night.

Memories of visiting family

Visiting Gran Gran and Boppa is always a delight. Look at this garden! It was so fun to hang out there. I just love how they adore the kids and truely make the most out of our time together.

Nana bought these zoo glasses that lots of the kids friends have been enjoying when they come to visit. And a stuffed giraffe that Rylan plays with and now she can say the word giraffe, hard word to say.

We had such a great time at Nana's house, she is so wonderful at throwing party's and all my relatives can come to visit us. I will never forget Mason riding his three wheeler and scaring everyone because he stops just as he looks like his is about to hit a car or go out into the rode.

I had a moment of "My little boy is growing up" while we were outside playing. My mom's neighbor kids came to ask Mason if he would like to play with them. I said sure but as they were running around and riding there bikes back and forth I watched them from behind the trees and on the porch.(not quite sure of letting him leave my site) I remember running around with my neighborhood friends when I was a kid. Such great memories. Oh how I wish Mason could have friends in his neighborhood that he could play with like I did.

Ry Ry has also been saying elephant. She is so smart and can point out if there are two elephants if she sees two.
I can't forget to share about bike riding in Colorado. We put the kids in the ride along tent thing and take off. My mom and I took the kids to the park and by the mall. I think of doing this often. How fun it is to be outside on a bike.

here I go

Today was filled with smiles and laughter. No different then any other day. I have two most wonderful loving children. Today was a sunny beautiful day, we went to Boomer lake. Mason rode his bike by the lake and I power walked behind him to keep up. We stopped at the park and enjoyed the swings and slides. Rylan was eager to go up and down the stairs her self. I had to catch her twice as she was falling. But she continued to not give up trying to do it without my help. I hope she doesn't give up this trait of not giving up.

wonderful quotes by Mason.. I walk into the bathroom and say " hey you done brushing your teeth?" mason says" I like it when your hair is up like this, up here, you look very pretty like that." Took me off guard, where did that thought come from.

Just the other morning I was questioning "why do I always ask you kids what you want to eat, I should just give you a meal to eat." As they are unsure of what they want to eat. Mason says " its because you are sweet ma ma."

Mason is always giving Brandon 2 or 3 hugs and kisses before he leaves the house. Mason will drop what he is doing and run to make sure he says bye. Brandon asks him, "why do you hug and kiss my so much?" Mason says " because I love you"

Rylan has been singing lots, its her sweet spirit. Its sounds like humming sometimes because she isn't saying any words. I think its the ABC song most of the time.

Yesterday we went on a hike, wonderful weather. Mason had to little boys to run and wrestle with the whole journey. I think every 6 feet they were on the ground. Rylan was on my back in a backpack, quite as can be. She didn't make much noise the whole way but once when she started crying randomly and we think a bug bit her. Those nasty things bothering my sweet girl. Killed it and went on our way.

Mason has been denying reading any books for a few weeks. but I think he has found a love again. I found two story books that he found interesting and tonight he asked me to read a book to him. Hooray! we are going to the library in the morning to continue to ignite this fire again.

Rylan has been doing the cutest thing after she answers you. She smacks her lips and moves her head side to side. So much personality, so much joy. Thats my Rylan Joy.
